About Lisa

I have travelled a 30 year path working and playing with various yoga forms, including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Scaravelli yoga. I trained to teach yoga with the Classical Yoga School (CYS) in Scotland in 2009-10. My own explorations in yoga since then have focused predominantly on the quieter, Yin style. This ‘yoking’ or union of body, heart and mind provides benefits beyond simply being more flexible or stronger. For me, the practice of Yin Yoga helps to re-establish our natural wholeness – the balanced integrity of our true nature.
As a yoga teacher, I aim to be present with what is, and to meet you exactly where you are, adapting to your specific needs and capacity as necessary.
I am qualified in Emergency First Aid and am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, an international body that sets and upholds high standards of yoga teaching, including continuing professional development as a requirement for ongoing registration.
